A triangular love(infatuation) story-2

There is enough mischief for people who are in search of it. When Jab We Met was released in 2007 we didn’t even dream that this is going to bring about a change . Some skeptics may say that Imtiaz Ali was inspired by people like us. But not us;we were perfectly decent until we saw that movie.

Really yaar……..!!!!.

This time I was in love. The kind of true love that makes us feel that we have known him since ages. The fact is that I haven’t seen him for more that a minute in a single stretch. And the total time my eyes had spend with him will not sum up to five minutes. Here again I took the aid of my friend.

” Show him to me”-said x2

“But I myself have seen him only thrice”-said I

” What nonsense are you speaking?”-x2 raised her doubts.But I did not pay heed to that and I made it a habit to give hour long speech on his character during lunch breaks(All based on the knowledge that I gathered in less than 5 minutes).

How perfect he seems, calm and composed with excellent management skills,see the way he walks, see the way he talks……

A week passed like that..

And the guy stood the racks. As a matter of fact there is a pattern to check the character of guys. Observe them for a week to understand their character composition. Next week you must make them aware that you are interested in them. More than 80% will then spill it out to their friends and boast that this girl is interested in me, thus making it evident that they are emotionally bankrupt and have nothing else to boast of. This again is a black mark in their personal integrity. Bird watching is considered by boys as their private domain, but it is a well known fact among girls that girls does it more tactically without tarnishing their image;barring honorable exceptions.

Another 19% of the guys will wait for you to propose. In either of the above cases ditch them without a second thought.

The right guy for you is the one who ignores you, best if he is angry with you. This indicates that they are busy people who have worthier things to think of. And indeed he was the first guy who  ignored me bluntly.

On Friday evening I went to x2.

“How masculine so calm and composed….”-said x2 in a mood indicating that she was out of the world

” Of whom are you speaking of?”-asked I

“Of him”-said x2

“Him means?”- I asked

” Him ****** . I am in love with him”- said she.

“You traitor…”-said I raising my voice.

But she went on describing him. And I noticed that most of the phrases were taken from my lunch break speeches.

In the end she said-”I had been to Svasur-bari”

(Svasur-bari is the Bengali word for husband’s house,taken from Kabuliwallah  by Tagore.)

“Make it clear”-said I,my blood getting heated up.

“I had been to his class for an essay writing competition. And I wrote an essay full of love for him”-said x2

“What was the essay about”

“About bio-technology”

“You wrote an essay on bio-technology full of love for him”-asked I

“Yes I wrote of Green Revolution thinking of we both running through green fields and of white revolution….”-

“Stop it”-said I.

After an hour of argument we both agreed that both of us are in love with him.

” Shall we both go and propose him”-suggested x2

“Wow…what an idea, what are you planning to say- We both love you, will you marry us..?”

“At least one of us”-said x2.

And the argument went on.

At this point our hero came out of his class,threw a look at us and raised his spectacles making it clear that he intends to do no business with worthless girls like us.

We both had no differences in interpreting what he said. Now that we got a point to agree on we forgot about him and roared into laughter.
