A shortfilm competition is being conducted as a part of CSIT Association Day which will be held on 3^rd week of September 2010.  All students can participate and there will be no registration fee for the competition. Best shortfilm will be rewarded with a cash prize worth not less than Rs.1000/- and will be shown on CiTS day.

GUIDELINES FOR SHORTFILM COMPETITION

1)      Maximum allowed team size – 10 students.

2)      Maximum time duration for the shortfilm – 10 minutes.

3)      Topic for the shortfilm – Anything can be chosen by the team.

4)      Camera to be used – There is no constraints. (eg: mobile cam to professional cam.)

5)      If the number of entries is more, an initial filtering will be done.

6)      Evaluation will be strictly based on a Jury.

7)      Last date for submission – 13^th September 2010, 3.00 PM

8)      The decision of the Jury shall be final.

This months competition in CBC2010 is the “Best Campus Journalist” competition. From among the posts that happen in the network during the month of august, posts that has got content from the campus will be selected for evaluation and the winner gets an Ipod.

Other winners will receive scholarships for studying “Applied Economics” course at the Hedge School of Applied Economics.

• News From campus
• Event reports (with photos/videos)
• Interviews of campus celebrities/faculties
• New relevant to the campus (From the locality)
• Articles about the campus
