Are you a Firefox user or a Firefox fan (of course i am). There is a cool add-on that can speed up your downloads 10 times faster. Its called FireDownload by Radical Software Ltd.
FireDownload is integrated smoothly into the standard FireFox user interface, so accelerated downloads show up directly in the native downloads window. Maximum acceleration is ensured using multi-source downloading and compression techniques.
Just don’t think that its another download accelerator that don’t speed up anything. Just see what i have experienced while downloading NVIDIA Forceware.
Normal Download (I am using a 256 Kbps connection, so my transfer rate is between 30 & 32 KB/s)
Note: The FireDownload doesn’t work with some sharing sites.
They also got a product named FireTorrent. This Firefox extension lets you download BitTorrent files with a single click. Now away with all BitTorrent clients and its settings, speed etc.
