Icloud began development in 2001 and launched their beta version of an online computer April 2009. The virtual desktop recreates the look and feel of a full-fledged operating system running in a browser, including a desktop, application icons, widgets and applications running simultaneously in separate windows.
The free version of iCloud gives users 3GB of storage space and a WebDAV backup feature, enabling file synchronisation across different systems. This means, for instance, that a user can synchronise files between an iCloud desktop and a physical desktop.
Icloud also has a mobile application. Users can store, access and share files via their smartphone.

eyeOS started in 2005, Glide OS in 2005, Netvibes in 2005, Online OS in 2006. Find the date of start and launch yourself (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_desktop#Comparison_of_web_desktops). Regarding the news, you better ask the news guy. I am not criticizing their effort, I was just pointing into a job that they have missed in their way. Please take it in the right spirit. Dude, results are rewarded, efforts aren't.
BTW, Can you please tell me where I can have a demo of “ansar virtual computer”.

"As far as we know such a facility does not exist" - Please check following links.
It always saves time and money, if we learn about existing before inventing.

Is there a place where I can see a demo?

How much of this project is actually implemented?

We used to have a similar idea and it was my seminar topic for B-Tech final year. See: http://www.hoozi.com/post/640pi/
