Let me start off with a quick intro, I’m currently working on my software development company Infinite Open Source Solutions which is incubated in National Institute of Technology Calicut, one of the prestigious educational institutions in India. Being worked on the internet platform, I understand the wide possible reach with internet based information systems. As a person who utilises internet for learning process I understand it is high time College of Engineering Thalassery adopt a Campus Blogging Model. I’m sure this will create a positive change in the way students are approaching their education, career plans, extra curricular activities etc and which will enable them to have a better life. I’m a part of TEN (Technology Evangelists Network) family.
TEN (Technology Evangelists Network) is a group of techies who are spending their free time to promote technology adoption. Our aim is to make society realise how much of a positive difference, technology can make. We organise Blogcamps, BarCamps and other unconferences for students and professionals. Our activities have resulted in blogging Moms, coding kids and internet savvy farmers.
The Campus blogging project aims to create a network of blogs each published from different campuses. Each Campus Blog doubles up as the online campus newsletter and notice board. It also provides a platform for students to show case their talent. The project will create the next generation of bloggers who will fuel the social media revolution further.
