I’m drowning in my past;

That too, just soo fast;

Days were soo divine;

And my life was sweet as wine;

Memories start to appear;

As an unforgettable fear;

Life seems to crumble;

Like a shell too feeble;

Heart starts to shiver;

While my lips leep to quiver;

Words seem to halt;

As if in a broken shaft;

Mind seems to freeze;

In a chilling breeze;

I ceased wishing for more;

Since all my dreams have gone sore;

I pretend to laugh;

Though my words are broken into half;

I have no shelter to hide;

Why can’t life be a little mild?

Life is just too cruel!

And pain is its fuel;

Before the almighty, I bow;

While my tears continue to flow.
