Wat abt the stuffs u study?

Hi friends, i hope u r a Btech student or Pass out. What do u feel about the stuffs that u studied during Btech as part of your syllabus?Is the syllabus revised and updated to the current changes in corresponding fields?…definitely no!…..

U know about our Cusat syllabus na ,it was changed in 2006.On comparing the old syllabus with the new one,the only notable change is in the number of modules.(5 modules got reduced to 4).Contents as it is in the old syllabus…I felt that some topics and some subjects are a total waste…Some required topics and subjects are not covered in the curriculum at all (Im talking about Computer Science,hope same is the case with others).I agree that all the old stuffs are to b studied as a basic,But equally important is the updation to current technology.As u all know IT field is a rapidly changing field.And to stay alive in that field,one has to be uptodate.But just think about things that is taught as part of syllabus( old ,aged,exhausted stuffs).What do u think about this?…Any solutions?…then pls comment
